I have worked at EZ Storage for the past 12 years and my boss is the best!! When I told him I won’t be returning till at least Wednesday, he was so understanding and supportive!! Thank you Boss!!

Dragon Slayer Down

OH!! Guess Texas decided I’m staying… I know God has a plan but darn it!! He forgot to ask me what I thought!! Ha ha ha.
Well Barnett Harley-Davidson service department worked late into the evening on my Dragon Slayer!! They were great!! She’s not right yet, so I’m going to stay a few days until the service department opens up. I guess I miss them too much to leave!! Must have been their beautiful smiles!!
While we are down, check out their close out inventory!! It’s amazing!!

Love of our Country

I don’t know why, but Texas cracked open my heart and made me fall in love with this big beautiful country of ours!! I was in awe before, now I understand why people go and give their life to keep our freedom.
Maybe it’s the vastness of the land here. My brother says Texas is the flattest state. I do believe he’s right!! Maybe it’s the fact that as far as my eye can see, there is no boundaries.
I can not say for sure why, I only know my heart is overflowing!!

Auto Pilot

Ha Ha Ha. I found auto pilot on my Dragon Slayer today out on I20!! I play a mean game of solitaire on her gas tank while she tools along!! Please please please don’t tell my Baby Chicken and for sure don’t tell my best friend Debbie. She won’t let me out of the house for a year!! What beautiful land in TX!!

Time Zones

I no longer can tell who is in what time zone so please forgive me if I disturb your sleep!! I am so grateful that my own internal clock automatically adjusts to the different zones!! I wake up @ 530 no matter what zone I’m in. I wonder how my body does that??

Headed to El Paso!! Excited to meet new friends!! Its already 80 @ 6 am!! Ha ha. The sky was a beautiful pink!!
Pink sky in morning, sailor take warning, pink sky at night, sailors delight!!
My Dragon Slayer needs a medal for carrying so far safely!! She has been so great!! Since I got her on my birthday 6 years ago, I will celebrate her birthday on August 8th with mine!! Maybe I will buy her some diamonds and chrome!! A girl’s delight!! Ha ha ha. She’s a simple girl like me!!

GPS

I was sitting at the table with my brother. I haven’t seen him for a few years and I missed him. He wore blue jeans and a blue t-shirt with work boots. His baseball cap was on backward. His blue eyes blinked slowly as he looked at me.
“My GPS makes it difficult when I don’t know where I’m at. It takes me down these roads and I have to keep stopping.” “Why don’t you use the arrows to know which way to turn,” he questioned. “Arrows, what arrows?”
A look of shock registered on my face. I suddenly burst into uncontrollable laughter. “Oh my gosh!! Do you know what I’ve been doing?? I look at how many miles it is and then I drive a few blocks. If the mileage goes down then I know I’m headed in the right direction!!” Otherwise, I turn around. I never even thought to look at the arrows.” My brother looked at me with puzzlement on his face. “No wonder it took you so long to get here. Are you sure you came all the way across America?”
We had a good long laugh on that one!! It sure was hard to leave my brother this time. I love you tons Randy!!
